Earlier this year I had a conversation with ~jennieannie and we reached the conclusion that I should totally draw some HP fanart. And now I heard about *Suanin's HP contest and decided to give it a go.

I was planning to draw Alan Rickman's awesome Snape. Honestly. But come on, here's metal more attractive. I'm not very fond of the Potter movies, because as we can see, it is basically impossible to squeeze all the book awesomeness into relatively short films, but the fourth one offers a wide range of visual pleasures from pretty Death Eaters to Robert Pattinson getting a nice Avada Kedavra on his sparkling arse. (My sincere apologies to all the Twilighters that happen to watch me. )

Once again I have to say that the drawing looks so much better in real life. My scanner refuses to pick up dark shadows and it's really hard to recreate the original contrast in photo editing programs. (Note to self: get a camera already. ) But I think it looks okay. I still find DT extremely hard to draw, so there are things that I'm not happy with, but I absolutely love how the tiny David came out. I had so much fun with the background.
