[2x13 Doomsday]

This is my first entry for =Cataclysm-X's Couples & Duos contest. Of course I was going to draw those two.

I've had the screencaps in my must-draw folder for months so I decided to get rid of them. I discovered that drawing fragments like these is so much harder than doing a proper portrait. It's really hard to capture likeness when you don't see the whole face. But I think I did a good job. The only thing I'm not happy with is the background of Rose's panel. I forgot to add a light layer of graphite in the background, sprayed it with fixative, then went "oh shit!" and added the shading after the fixative had dried. It looks....okay, but it would have been so much better if I had done it before spraying.

I remember saying somewhere that I love drawing David's hair. I shall have to take it back. It. Was. A nightmare.

Oh, and they're not on the same paper in real life. Different paper universes. Both are 15x27 cm.
